We often believe that we can fix our life problems by working harder. It seems like “working harder” often works. But does it?

What we think and how we live depends on our sources. We see this in  popular culture as well – the voices we listen to are the ones that influence us the most. What does Jesus want for us? Which source(s) does  he want us learning from and leaning on? His answer to those questions makes all the difference for how we live.

When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith." Matthew 5:10

"No one from the east or the west or from the desert can exalt themselves. It is God who judges: He brings one down, he exalts another." Psalm 75:6-7

Those with whom we spend the most time are the ones who influence us. What then will be like when we spend more and more time with Jesus? We want to walk through life close to Jesus.
