The journey from God's instruction to Abram to leave his country and go to a land which he would possess is commenced in this message.

The question of whether Jesus' life was a wasted life, since he only lived for 33 years, is considered. The value of this short life is also shown in the Communion Service.

When Jesus was crucified, two thieves were also crucified along side him. One thief disbelieved who Jesus was because he did not save him from his just punishment; the other realized Jesus to be the Messiah and if he would remember him when he, Jesus, returned to his kingdom. Jesus assured him that he would. We are urged to consider our view of, and attitude toward, Jesus.
