Shane’s guests include Tom Downard, Executive Director of the Avon Chamber of Commerce, discussing Hendricks County Rib Fest being held at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds on Saturday, June 25th (we will also have a live remote from Rib Fest from 4p – 7p). Lora Helmick from the Washington Township Parks Department will be in studio talking about the Park’s new Murphy Aquatic Center. WYRZ’s intern Kam Skobel time with WYRZ has come to an end. He talks to Shane about his tenure at WYRZ and his future plans. Finally, Shane will be replaying highlights of an interview he conducted with the late Maggie Peterson who played Charlene Darling on The Andy Griffith Show.

This week Shane Ray talks with winning candidates after the May 3rd Primary of 2022. He also asks Gov. Eric Holcomb a few questions, Brandy Perrill of Hendricks College Network, and Lael Hill of Mental Health American of Hendricks County. Finally the WYRZ intern interviews Rob Kendall of WIBC.

On this special edition of Central Indiana Today, Shane’s guests will be Helee Livengood Adkins of Hendricks Senior Services to talk about the Musical Chairs fundraiser event they have coming up on April 22nd. Deanna Hindsley of the Hendricks County Museum is in studio discussing their upcoming fundraiser Dancing with the Hendricks County Stars on May 14th. Finally, Shane talks with the Lt. Governor of the State of Indiana Suzanne Crouch about the recently completed legislative session.

On the March episode of Central Indiana Today , Shane Ray talks with Brownsburg Town Manager Deb Cook along with Council President Travis Tschaenn . Also, the Executive Director of the Avon Chamber of Commerce , Tom Downard, spoke with Shane. And Shane talked with one of the drivers of The Peoples Convoy as they stopped in Monrovia, Indiana.
