Today I’m talking about the emotional strain of wearing different "masks" throughout the day. I explore mood instability and the power of therapy. As well as managing inner struggles and taking proactive steps toward mental clarity and balance. Read my Medium article HERE.
I started this podcast in a car park, rambling into my phone, just to get the sh*t out of my head. Somewhere along the way I got lost in the choas of content creation. Until now. Here we are again, back to basics. No masks, no marketing bullshit, just me and my phone. If you're sick of polished perfection and just want something real, get involved.
Sometimes, we need to smash everything up to figure out where all the pieces truly belong. Today, I’m talking about meltdowns, clarity, and why I’m officially done with sleeping pills. There’s a few journaling habits that may help you sleep better & stay focused as well. And stick around to the end for me and my mate Dave singing 'Half The World Away' by Oasis. Enjoy!
It’s easy to project our thoughts and emotions onto others, and even easier to get it completely wrong. I recently did exactly that with a friend when I started this podcast. I misread his message and heard something darker, shaped by my own past. I then shared my assumptions on this podcast. This episode highlights how we see the world through our own lens. And if we step back and appreciate our uniqueness, we’ll give each other a chance to be truly heard.
The drive, the hyper-focus & the double-edged sword of ADHD and bipolar. Although the traits that come with these conditions fuel my creativity. I'm still trying to make sense of (and manage) the constant need to be better. I also talk about a recent conversation with a psychologist and her assesment of 'you look fine to me'!
Today I'm talking about my journey with bipolar disorder. From the secrecy and shame that came with my diagnosis to the heartbreak of losing friends along the way. Ultimately, this episode is a celebration of self-acceptance, the beauty of imperfection, and the quiet moments that remind us of life’s goodness. It’s a call to take off the masks, embrace vulnerability, and recognise the inherent value in simply being ourselves.
Cookie cutter content is exhausting. Hear how stepping away from the standard playbook has help me find my voice. How stand-up-comedy helped me externalise, process, and transform my internal struggles into relatable stories, proving that even our darkest truth can lead to connection and laughter. Stick around to the end to hear an awesome tune by Dave Kelly's Music
Hear me reflect on the past week's progress after a very difficult and dark time. I share personal insights on balancing the highs and lows, finding clarity, and taking steps toward a more positive mindset.
