We're four months into the Xbox Series X / S launch and the new consoles have been scarcely spotted in the wild. Scalpers are still buying out retail drops and jacking the prices up of the Series X / S. Major Nelson (aka Larry Hryb) revealed on a recent episode of the official Xbox podcast that new exciting features are coming to Xbox. Could Xbox VR soon be a reality? Microsoft is also still looking to add more studios under the Xbox Game Studios banner. HBO's The Last of Us TV series has announced castings for Joel and Ellie. With 2021 now upon us, a new year means new games! We go over some of the games Microsoft recently announced they are releasing on Xbox in 2021, with many indie developers showing off some impressive-looking IPs. A new year also means new year resolutions, and we discuss our goals for Xbros and where we want to go with it this year. We've had some more playtime with Cyberpunk 2077 and give our updated opinions on it. In a surprise announcement, EA no longer holds exclusive rights to Star Wars games - and Ubisoft is the first to announce that they are working on a Star Wars game. The 2020 Game Awards has brought an avalanche of new game trailers for Xbox and we've gotten to see what lies ahead for 2021 - 2022: Turtle Rock's Back for Blood, The Evil Dead Game, Fullbright's Open Roads, Crimson Desert, and finally a look at what The Initiative has been secretly working on... A NEW PERFECT DARK GAME! It was also announced with a short teaser video that Bioware is working on a proper Mass Effect trilogy sequel and a new Dragon Age game. Master Chief is making his way over to Fortnite, and we also saw an impressive trailer for The Callisto Protocol - a spiritual successor to Dead Space. After several delays, Cyberpunk 2077 has finally been released, however, with a ton of bugs. We give you our hands-on impressions. Getting through lockdown has been hard, and we've hit a first-world problem of watching too much tv and not watching enough. Joe talks about how he and Rachel have suddenly gotten into anime. After purchasing Bethesda's parent company Zenimax Media, rumors have begun circulating that Microsoft is looking to buy more studios in the coming months and that Bungie is on their list. It also seems that Nintendo and Microsoft are planning for a very friendly next generation after it was announced this week that Minecraft characters are making their way to Smash Bros. CD Project Red has announced this week that they would begin having mandatory overtime for their employees for the next six weeks to play-test and finalize their upcoming AAA title Cyberpunk 2077.
