Xenorama, the Podcast of Heroes and Monsters

In which X7 reviews the finale of Phantom 2040!  These are the final four episodes of the series, and it ends as well as it can, since perhaps they thought a third season would be approved.  We would have liked more, but as the old jungle saying goes, “always leave ‘em wanting more” applies here (and for most things overall).  Let the drums roll!

In which X7 talks about an Abbott and Costello movie thatseems to be rather overlooked, The Time of Their Lives (1946)!  It is about ghosts and redemption and is quite funny.  It also follows the rules of both hauntings and poltergeists, so add that to the antics!  Let’s roll!

In which X7 laughs a lot at Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure! We are happy to hear that it holds up very well, considering it is nearly 40 years old. Find a call box, er, a phone booth, and let’s dial in!

In which X7 tries really hard to like this rather sordid martial arts movie. There is a lot to like about it, but... it is kinda trashy. The fights are great, though! Watch and find out why he thinks this way! Let's roll!

In which X7 reviews the first two episodes of Amazon's Spider Noir from this very year! The series is not even a month old, which is a first for this channel! Ben Reilly has the ol' Parker luck, but perhaps he will find himself! Walloping websnappers, let's roll!

In which X7 talks about a book he has had in his collectionfor over 50 years (that really can’t be right, can it?) called Monsters Who’s Who!  The title is a bit misleading overall, but now it is a lot of fun to look through.  Let’s dive in!

In which X7 takes a look at a movie for the first time, The Aztec Mummy! It is a very atmospheric film, but it is padded with a lot of extra padding. Hence the term padded, right? It is the first in a pure trilogy, and an accidental franchise of sorts. Let's dig into this mummy's tomb!

In which X7 reviews four more episodes of the rather fantastic Phantom 2040 series! Every episode does indeed build upon the previous one, as the continuing characters show up to help or hinder our heroes. Let's roll!

In which X7 struggles to say positive things about a movie he should love, Planet of Dinosaurs. The dinosaurs are great. The rest of the movie... well, watch and find out! Let's roll!

In which X7 talks about a really fun and slightly unusual martial arts/superhero movie, the Heroic Trio! It was eye-opening in 1993. at least to most Western audiences! See how it fares nowadays! Let the heads roll!
