Xenorama, the Podcast of Heroes and Monsters

In which X7 talks about one of the most influential (at the time, and for a decade later, at least) issue of Famous Monsters of Filmland, the all Japanese monster issue, #114! X7 has had five copies of it in his life, even! Yeah, we know. Let's roll!

In which X7 reviews the funny Mexican movie, The Ship of Monsters (1960)! It is a monster-comedy-musical, and is pretty darn funny, overall! We highly recommend it! Let's roll!

In which X7 runs down the final four episodes of the most excellent Speed Racer cartoon! Sure, the US dub does not let us know it is the end of the series, but these days we sure can tell what is happening! Drop that checkered flag and let's roll!

In which X7 reviews the Buck Rogers in the 25th Century (1979), the pilot movie for the television series! It is pretty good overall, despite some silly humor here and there. It is easy to see why it became a series, which was sort of successful. Let's blast off!

In which X7 has a rather non-fannish take on 1988's Dragons Forever, or perhaps, Days of our Dragons Forever, a very soapy courtroom drama that has some excellent fight scenes sprinkled in it. Does it deserve classic status? Let us know in the comments! Let's roll!

In which X7 about a lesser known cartoon, at least in the US, Panda and the Magic Serpent. The Japanese release was in 1958, and will be discussed in exactly one week! Stay tuned to see the differences! Let's roll!

In which X7 gets a little too excited about seeing a cameo by his favorite Ultra Monster, Sea Bozu in an episode of the great Ultraman Mebius series! The Crying Monster is kinda cute, though! Let's roll!

In which X7 reviews a nearly fifty year old magazine with ONE article he seems to still be quite salty about! Space Wars was a magazine designed to part Star Wars hungry kids from their money, and it worked on X7. Find out how by watching! Let's roll!

In which X7 reviews a beautiful cartoon from Ireland, The Secret of Kells! It was released in 2009, and is quite moving and fun. The humor is also there, and there is a bit of action and darkness. Go figure. We highly recommend it! Let's roll!

In which X7 reviews the next four episodes of Speed Racer, 45-48! This is the penultimate review of the Speed Racer series for our podcast, and three out of the four episodes are pretty darn great. Drop the checkered flag, let's roll!
