Xenorama, the Podcast of Heroes and Monsters

In which X7 begins his review of the ONLY serial that featured Diego de la Vega as Zorro, Zorro's Fighting Legion (1939)! It is a Republic serial, meaning it has a lot of great fights and stunts! Let's ride!

In which X7 delves into the fascinating world of mail-order! These are actual items that were sold to kids all over the United States via comic books and monster magazines! They promised a lot... but we only knew a few friends who ever ordered anything, so we never knew if they were for real. Let's find out now!

In which X7 talks about the way Equinox impacted the film industry, albeit in ways the creators never imagined! The movie is pretty fun, kinda, but the effects take precedence over the story (sound familiar?) but who is watching for the story? Let's roll!

In which X7 starts a new animated series review, 1995's take on The Savage Dragon! So far it is interesting, though if you have read the comics, you might know how the episodes will play out. X7 has never seen this series before, so this is brand new to him! Let's roll!

In which X7 reviews the comedy-mystery movie The Ghost and Mr. Chicken, from 1966. Some people call this a horror movie as well, but there is none of that here, just the trappings! It is fun, but is it one of X7's favorite Don Knotts' movies? Watch (or listen) and find out!

In which X7 talks about a super-scary martial arts fantasy movie, Sakuya, Slayer of Demons (2000)! It sure is fun, but it sure needs a proper Blu Ray release. Let's see it, and let's roll!

In which we kick off the Hallowe'en season proper with a musical-horror-comedy movie, Mad Monster Party? (1967) X7 has seen this a couple times, but apparently quite enjoyed it this viewing. Lots of fun to be had!

In which X7 bids a fond farewell to the classic 70s kidvid series, The Land of the Lost! These are the final two episodes, and he will miss the series. Perhaps the third season not as much, but it is still entertaining! Let's roll!

In which X7 talks about the great book by the great Bill Apter, Is Wrestling Fixed? I Didn't Know It Was Broken! It is about his many years taking pictures and being in both the magazine and the wrestling industries. Bill talks candidly about the good times and a few bad times, and the book is highly entertaining and recommended!

In which X7 reviews a movie from 2019- a shock, we know! Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! He is no turtle-head (is that what the fans are called?) but he did quite enjoy the movie. Listen and find out why!

Also, thanks to Clashing Plaid for Be My Batgirl!
