Summary:

After all of horrors that Scully faced to give birth to her unexpected miracle child in the nowhere-place of Democrat Hot Springs, Georgia, and after everything it had taken to get there, she is back home with her son. Finally. Nothing about the war outside matters. Though Scully knows it everything is most certainly far from over, she is overwhelmed with joy to be a mother. Such has been all she's ever wanted for years now. Precious baby William, her proof of love and of miracles, is in the world. The completing cherry on top as they settle in? Mulder is on the way to meet him. Both he and Scully can only hope it means that the world will stop spinning *so* quickly. At least for awhile, anyway.
