『神はこの聖霊を、私たちの救い主イエス・キリストによって、私たちに豊かに注いでくださったのです。』　（テトス3:6／新改訳2017）

　私は、この聖霊によって救われたのです。以前は、現世どっぷりの生活、愚鈍・不従順・混迷・欲望・快楽・憎悪・嫉妬、これで思い通りの生涯だったとしたら、神も知らず、天国も知らず、死んだら何処へ行くのかも知らずに彷徨っていたことでしょう。幸か不幸か、自分に絶望していたので、神に頼らざるを得なかった、しかし、そこに救いが待っていたのです。

　今日も、主の平安で満たされますように・・・。

『信仰によって、私たちは、この世界が神のことばで造られたことを悟り、その結果、見えるものが、目に見えるものからできたのではないことを悟ります。』　（ヘブル11:3／新改訳2017）

　神様は、み言葉でこの世界を造られました。『「光、あれ」すると光があった。』み言葉は目に見えません。神様は目に見えません。神様の存在を信じ、神様の摂理を信じ、神様の守りを信じ、神様の導きを信じるのです。理屈でもなく、理論でもなく、理解でもないのです。その信じる力をも神様が与えて下さっているのです。

　今日も、主の導きのままに過ごせますように・・・。

「By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.」　 Amen.

   God created this world with His Word. Then God said,“Let there be light”; and there was light. We can't see The Words. We can't see God either. But we can believe in God's existence, His providence, His protection, and His guidance. That is neither logic nor theory nor understanding. Because God has given us the power to believe.

May we follow the Lord's guidance today as well.

『イエスはそこを去って郷里に行かれた。弟子たちもついて行った。』　（マル6:1／新改訳2017）

  イエス様が生まれたのは、ベツレヘムでしたが、幼少期から公生涯までを過ごしたのは、ナザレという町でした。父ヨセフ、母マリヤ、イエス様の下には、ヤコブ、ヨセ、ユダ、シモン達がいて、妹たちもいました。その町へイエス様は行かれたのです。でも、小さい頃から知っているイエス様の今の姿を見て、郷里の人たちは理解できなかったのです。

　今日も、主と共に歩むことができますように・・・。

 「Then He went out from there and came to His own country, and His disciples followed Him.」　 Amen.

  Jesus was born in Bethlehem. It was Nazareth that he then spent his childhood until his ministry. His father Joseph, mother Mary were there. Jesus was followed by Jacob, Joseph, Judas, and Simon, and their sisters. Jesus went to his hometown. However, the people who knew Jesus from an early age could not understand Jesus.

May we walk with the Lord today as well.

  神様の律法では、大麦や小麦の収穫の時には、わざと麦の穂を落とすことが決められていました。それは、収穫の後に畑に入る貧しい人たちへの思いやりでした。そうして、貧しい人たちも安心して落穂を拾うことができたのです。ミレーの絵画「落穂ひろい」はそのことを描いた絵だったのです。

　今日も、主の愛の中で過ごされますように・・・。

 「I have been young, and now am old;Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken,Nor his descendants begging bread.」　　Amen.

  According to God's law, when barley and wheat were harvested, some of them were intentionally dropped. It was compassion for the poor who entered the fields after the harvest. Then, the poor people were able to collect leftover crops with peace of mind. They say that Millet painted "The Gleanings" to express that.

『それとも、あなたがたは知らないのですか。キリスト・イエスにつくバプテスマを受けた私たちはみな、その死にあずかるバプテスマを受けたのではありませんか。』　（ロマ6:3／新改訳2017）

　この当時、バプテスマは浸礼でした。自分の体が水の中に沈められ、古き自分が死に、そして、水の中から出てきた時には、新しい自分になっているのです。今まで、心の中心は自分でしたが、その王座をイエス様に明け渡すのです。水の中から上がってくることは、イエス様と共に新しい命へと蘇らされたということなのです。

　今日も、新しい心で過ごせますように・・・。

 「Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?」 Amen.

  At that time, Baptism was by immersing in water. When your body is submerged in the water, your old self dies, and you come out of the water, you become a new self. Until then, you were the center of your heart, but you put Jesus on the throne of your heart. Getting up from the water means that you will be resurrected with Jesus as a new life.

May you be with a new heart today as well.
