『そして、この朽ちるべきものが朽ちないものを着て、この死ぬべきものが死なないものを着るとき、このように記されたみことばが実現します。「死は勝利に?み込まれた。」』　（Ⅰコリ15:54）【新改訳2017】

　やがてこの体は朽ちていき、死んでしまいます。しかし、イエス様を信じている人々は、それだけ終わらないのです。イエス様がやがて再び戻ってこられる時に栄光の体へと変えられるのです。死で終わるのではなく、その先に希望が備えられているのです。

　今日も、主の希望に満たされますように・・・。

「So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory."」　

Amen.

  Eventually this body will decay and die. However, we who believe in Jesus do not end there. When Jesus comes back again, he will change our bodies into glorious bodies. Death does not end everything, there is hope after that.

　Jesus is God and human. When he came down to this world as a human, he healed many people. But he was not a doctor. He influenced many people. But He was not a philosopher. He was crucified on our behalf to save many. But He was not a priest. Only God can forgive sins.

　May you keep an eye on Jesus' cross today as well.

『キリストは、今の悪の時代から私たちを救い出すために、私たちの罪のためにご自分を与えてくださいました。私たちの父である神のみこころにしたがったのです。』　（ガラ1:4）【新改訳2017】

　イエス様は、神様であり、また、人間なのです。人としてこの世に降りてきた時には、多くの人々を癒しました、でも、医者ではありません。多くの人々に影響を与えました。でも、哲学者でもありません。私たちの身代わりとなって、十字架に架かり多くの人々を救いました。でも、聖職者でもありません。罪を赦すことができるお方は、神様だけなのです。

　今日も、イエス様の十字架に目を留めることができますように・・・。

『ですから、主が来られるまでは、何についても先走ってさばいてはいけません。主は、闇に隠れたことも明るみに出し、心の中のはかりごとも明らかにされます。そのときに、神からそれぞれの人に称賛が与えられるのです。』　（Ⅰコリ4:5）【新改訳2017】

　裁いてはならないと書かれています。裁き主はただ主のみです。私たち人間には裁く権利は与えられていないのです。でも、時として裁きたくなるのも人間の性なんでしょう。相手を裁くということは、相手を自分よりも下と思っているからではないでしょうか。ここでは、賞賛が与えられると書かれてあります。見えない所では、悪い行いの方が多いと思いますが、神様は、賞賛すべき行いだけを取り上げて下さるのです。

　今日も、主の目に適う行いができますように・・・。

 「Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one's praise will come from God.」　Amen.

The Bible says we must not judge. The judgment is only by the Lord. We humans are not given the right to judge. However, it is human nature that sometimes makes us want to judge. Isn't it because you look down on others? It is written that we are given praise in this verse. Even if there are many bad deeds out of sight, God will only pick up praiseworthy one.

May we do what is right in the sight of the Lord today as well.

『見よ、わたしは新しいことを行う。今、それが芽生えている。あなたがたは、それを知らないのか。必ず、わたしは荒野に道を、荒れ地に川を設ける。』

　エジプトでの４００年の奴隷生活、バビロンでの７０年の捕囚生活、１８７８年という気の遠くなるような流浪生活、でも、神様は約束通りに新しい道を備えてくださいました。私たちの目の前には荒野が拡がっているかも知れません。しかし、神様は、そこに道を設けてくださるのです。

　今日も、主の道に思いを寄せることができますように・・・。

 「Behold, I will do a new thing,Now it shall spring forth;Shall you not know it?I will even make a road in the wildernessAnd rivers in the desert.」 Amen.　

  God prepared a new path as He promised after 400 years of slavery in Egypt, 70 years of captivity in Babylon, and 1878 years of daunting wanderings. God will make a way, if there is the wilderness in front of us.

Think about the Lord's way today as well.

 「And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.」　Amen.

  Enoch walked with God. He walked quietly. He wasn't willing to jump up, didn't scream, and made no special contribution. He gave birth to Methuselah, gave birth to his sons and daughters, lived 365 years, and was taken away to heaven so that he did not see death. Enoch was the seventh generation from Adam, and when he was born, Adam was alive. Then the 10th generation was Noah, and at this time the great flood occurred. He may have quietly foreseen its destruction.

May we walk with the Lord like Enoch today as well.
