「whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come-all are yours. 3:23 And you are Christ's, and Christ is God's.」 Amen.

　The people of the Corinthian church split up in groups of Paul, Apollos or Cephas (Peter) and they became sects. Paul warned that they should not be divided by human wisdom. Paul wrote that because we are descended from the Creator God, so stop the factional strife. Looking next to you, some people are attractive, but it's important to look up.

　May you spend your time looking up at the Lord today as well.

「And He said, "Let Me go, for the day breaks." But he said, "I will not let You go unless You bless me!"」　Amen.

　The name of the place was Peniel, for he had seen God face to face. Jacob and the messenger of God fought. And Jacob didn't have no going back until he was blessed. His hip socket was struck and he got blessed while dragging his leg. He was able to get his long-awaited blessing, after his ego was broken just as his dragging leg.

　May we pour out our heart before the Lord today as well.

　場所は、ペヌエル（神の御顔）という所、戦ったのは、神の使いとヤコブ、そして、ヤコブは祝福をいただくまでは一歩も後に引きませんでした。腿の関節を打たれ、足を引きずりながらも祝福を得ることができました。「足を引きずる」という自我が砕かれた後に念願の祝福を得ることができたのです。

　今日も、主の前に心を注ぎだすことができますように・・・。

『兄弟たち。あなたがたのうちに、不信仰な悪い心になって、生ける神から離れる者がないように気をつけなさい。』　（ヘブル3:12）【新改訳2017】

　ヘブル人への手紙の著者は誰であるか明確ではありません。「兄弟たち」とは、推測ですが、イタリアのユダヤ人に、それもイエス様を信じて、ある程度時間が経つものの、信仰の成長していない人たちに書かれていたようです。悪魔の誘惑、この世の自慢、不信仰への誘い、この世にあっては、神から離れさせようとする勢力がたくさんあります。見るのはイエス様だけなのです。

　今日も、信仰の創始者であるイエス様を見上げることができますように・・・。

「Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God;」 Amen.

　We do not know who the author of the Hebrews is. “Brethren” were maybe Italian Jews, who had believed in Jesus for some time but did not grow their faith, and this book was probably written for them. There are many forces in this world that try to turn you away from God, such as the temptation of the devil, boast of this world, and the invitation to unbelief. You must turn your eyes only to Jesus.

私が救われたのは、何かを成したわけではありません。救われた後も何かができるわけでもないのです。ただ、できるのは主に祈り続けることだけです。気分が高揚しても祈り、気分が低下しても祈り、成功しても祈り、失敗しても祈り、祈れませんと言っては祈り、聖徒のために忍耐を尽くして祈りなさいと言われるのです。実に、祈りは聖霊の助けによって祈りつ続けられるのです。

今日も、祈る一日となりますように・・・。

「praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints-」 Amen.

　It’s not that I was saved by doing something. Just because I was saved, doesn’t mean I can do anything. However, all we can do is keep praying to the Lord. We pray regardless of emotional ups and downs, whenever we succeed or fail, even when we can't pray, and then we must pray with patience for the saints. Indeed, our prayer continues with the help of the Holy Spirit.

『父が死人をよみがえらせ、いのちを与えられるように、子もまた、与えたいと思う者にいのちを与えます。』　（ヨハ5:21）【新改訳2017】

　「ヘブル9:27 人間には、一度死ぬことと死後にさばきを受けることが定まっている」のですが、さばきという言葉には恐いイメージがつきまといます、でも、イエス様を信じている人にとっては、どんな大きな罪を犯していても赦されて永遠の命を与えられているのです。ルカ7:50「あなたの信仰があなたを救ったのです。安心して行きなさい。」

　今日も、主にすべてを委ねることができますように・・・。

「"For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will.」　Amen.

　Heb9:27; just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment. The word "judgment" has a scary image, but those who believe in Jesus are forgiven and given eternal life no matter how great their sins are. Luk7:50; Your faith has saved you; go in peace.

　主が用いられる人は、決して能力が高い人ではありません。イエス様を信じる人、小さくても弱くても主に使ってくださいと捧げる人、そして、恵みを分ち合う人を主は用いてくださいました。主に用いられると祝福された人生が待ってるのです。

　お祈りします。

　愛する天のお父様、み名を崇め感謝します。主に大きく用いられますように、私たちの信仰を強めて下さいますようにお導き願います。どんな状況の中にあっても、主に祈りながら過ごすことができますように助けてください。今日の礼拝を感謝し、主イエス・キリストのお名前によって、お祈り致します。　アーメン。
