XOXO Riverdale

Kate and Louie were wondering if they could have this dance. Better get on the dancefloor fast, before the hook-handed Black Hood gets ya!

Kate and Louie are joined by brilliant theater maker: the witty and urbane Jess Goldschmidt to discuss the latest in quests, gargoyles, and cults! Plus, all the power lists and crush rankings you could ever want!

Kate and Louie have officially joined the farm after a boxing match that's gone too far! Have they been taking tainted fizzle rocks? Are they foaming at the mouth? All these questions are answered on this episode, and there's a power list and crush list too!

Kate and Louie have a spirited discussion about the Riverdale episode "The Mater," plus they are joined by special guest, Gretchen Unico (WRUW Cleveland's Dead Airplay Record Club) for a fun new segment!

Kate siiiings though this whole XOXO because they're covering Riverdale's latest musical episode, Big Fun! Yep. Kate sings and sings and sings, because that's what she does. Singing. Louie does not sing on this episode at all. Only Kate.

OK - so there are 12 Red Palladin cards and you've got two of them. Then, 10 more are given out to G & G fanatics. How many remain? Kate and Louie thought they had the answer, but this math problem of an episode had them stumped. Plus, random Hot Dog sighting!

Louie and Kate talk Luke Perry and what we loved about him before leading into what's certainly an improvement on the episode before. What would you steal from a chem lab? Would you cross the coals? Should the Serpents get guns? So many questions, so few answers.

This episode was recorded the day before we heard the heartbreaking news about Luke Perry. Expect more about his incredible legacy on our next episode. In the meantime, please enjoy our recap of Requiem for a Welterweight.

Strangely enough, this was one of the least bizarre episodes of Riverdale in a while. Maybe the writers of the show don't know the definition of the word bizarre? It's very close to the word "weird," which they have used extensively. PS: We miss Moose already so much, OMG.

Riverdale. It's a noir town, full of noir people, making noir decisions.

Kate. She's a noir podcaster, compiling noir crush lists. Louie. He's a noir podcaster, making noir power lists.
