The debate between Jason Cebalo (Catholic Society of St. Peter) and Abdullah Kunde (Muslim Debate Initiative) was held in the Main Quadrangle of the University of Sydney on the topic “Is Jesus God”.

Jason Cebalo is currently studying Philosophy at University of Sydney having graduated from Campion College with a degree in Liberal Arts. He is a convert to Catholicism having been raised an atheist and is a member of the Dominican Laity, among whom he is known as Br. Thomas Bartollo.

Abdullah Kunde is a medical student and currently works part time for an international humanitarian organisation. He is undertaking Islamic studies in Sydney with prominent local scholars and also via distance education. He lives with his wife and corgi in western Sydney and is a huge fan of Dr. Who and a member of the Parramatta and Essendon Football Clubs.
