Fr Sean McDonagh is an Irish Columban missionary,who is one of the preeminent scholars on Laudato Si, with a long involvement in caring for Creation.
He is known around the world as an eco-theologian, and is one of those involved in the drafting Pope Francis’ encyclical “Laudato Si’: On Care for our Common Home”. He recently also served on an advisory group meeting at the Vatican which discussed the implementation of Laudato Si’.
His many books have explored the ethical and environmental implications of many issues and how they relate to faith.
