Frohes Neues Jahr - Happy New Year!

Dem Jahr 2022 weint der liebe Andreas wirklich keine Träne nach! Todesfälle, Kriegsbeginn, Covid19-Infektion und noch eine zweite (!) Netzhautablösung kurz vor Weihnachten! Auch in meiner Familie gab und gibt es diverse Erkrankungen und überhaupt war 2022 ein Jahr zum Vergessen! Glücklicherweise gab es mit "XtraChill" einen regelmäßigen und stabilen Ausgleich in all dem Missgeschick, ein wahrer Lichtblick in diesen düsteren Zeiten. Und deshalb blicken wir heute, am 01. Januar 2023, auf eine Auswahl der spannendsten Neuvorstellungen der letzten zwölf Monate zurück, die stellvertretend für alle Künstler und Projekte stehen, deren Musik uns 2022 Freude bereitet hat.

Auch bei dieser 383. Episode von "XtraChill" gilt die "Goldene Regel", dass nie ein Track zweimal gespielt wird, die Playliste besteht nur aus neuer Musik, überwiegend aus Alben und Compilations, die im vergangenen Jahr bei den vielen Netlabels aufgestöbert worden sind. Dear Andreas really doesn't shed any tears for the year 2022! Deaths, beginning of war, Covid19 infection and a second (!) retinal detachment just before Christmas! There were and are various illnesses in my family too and 2022 was a year to forget! Luckily there was a regular and stable balance in all the mishaps with "XtraChill", a real bright spot in these murky times. And that's why today, on January 1st, 2023, we're looking back at a selection of the most exciting newcomers of the last twelve months, which represent all the artists and projects whose music brought us joy in 2022.
