A lot of people think they know God, but they really don’t. They read, they follow the rules, they say the right things… yet their hearts are still dark, and they have no real understanding of what it means to truly know the Lord. And here’s the part most folks won’t say out loud: sometimes the ones who call themselves “righteous” end up resenting the sinner — because the sinner often knows something they don’t. The sinner knows they are loved. The sinner knows God sees them. The sinner isn’t pretending. And that’s why God meets them where they are. Because knowing God isn’t about perfection… it’s about the heart.When I sat with this message, I realized how many people walk around wearing a spiritual mask. They carry a Bible, they show up to church, they quote scripture, and they know how to look holy on the outside — but inside, their heart is far from God. There’s bitterness, jealousy, judgment, and pride sitting in the seat where love is supposed to be. They think knowing God is about checking boxes, following rules, and appearing righteous in front of others. But God has never been impressed by performance. He looks at the heart, the motives, the posture of your spirit when nobody else is watching.And yet, the very people who claim to know Him often forget the first thing God teaches us: love. They forget compassion. They forget humility. They forget that everyone is in need of grace. Instead, they look at someone who has fallen, someone who is struggling, someone who doesn’t hide their flaws — and they judge them. They distance themselves. They lift themselves up as if their rule-keeping makes them superior. But God has always favored honesty over appearance. He would rather deal with a broken sinner who says, “Lord, I need You,” than a self-proclaimed righteous person who acts like they’ve got it all figured out.That’s why in Scripture, Jesus spent more time with the sinners, the outcasts, the ones society labeled as “unworthy.” Not because they were perfect — but because they were open. They knew they needed God. They knew they didn’t have the strength to pretend. They didn’t hide their struggles behind religion. They came to Him with their real selves, their real pain, and their real hearts.And that’s what many people today still don’t understand. Knowing God isn’t about being spotless. It’s about being surrendered. It’s about being real. It’s about having a heart that says, “Lord, I love You, and I want to grow,” even when your life is messy. God honors humility. He honors sincerity. He honors truth.What’s dangerous is when someone thinks their religious actions prove they know God. They get comfortable. They get prideful. They feel entitled to judge others. But inside, they have no peace. No love. No compassion. And the truth is, that darkness in the heart is what separates a person from truly knowing the Lord — not the lack of perfection, not the struggle, not the weakness.So today’s message is a reminder: God is not looking for people who act holy. I’m telling y’all right now — the more you try to speak truth, the more something out here tries to shut it down. There’s something we need to talk about, and I’m glad I’m bringing this to the podcast tonight because too many people still don’t understand what’s really happening. Today, once again, we found out that YouTube is still censoring creators. Yes — in 2025, with all the talk about “open platforms” and “free speech,” creators are still seeing their videos pushed down, hidden, or flat-out blocked from reaching the people they’re meant to help.
And what bothers me the most is that this isn’t happening to people who are spreading hate or chaos. It’s happening to people who are trying to speak truth, share their experiences, educate others, or shine light on things that were hidden in the dark. The very people who are trying to wake others up are the ones being silenced. That right there should tell you something.I’ve said this for a long time, and I’ll say it again because today just proved my point even more. Many platforms — not just YouTube — will act like they’re giving everybody a fair chance. But behind the scenes, they pick and choose whose voice gets heard. And let me tell you something: the voices that challenge the narrative, the voices that expose wrongdoing, the voices that encourage people to think deeper — those voices are always the first ones to get hit.But this is not new. God already spoke on this.
Jesus Christ himself dealt with opposition for speaking truth. Every time He opened His mouth and told people what they needed to hear — not what they wanted to hear — somebody was ready to fight Him, accuse Him, or try to silence Him. So when we see it happening today, it shouldn't shock us. It’s the same spirit, just dressed up differently.God tells us to know the Word and keep it in our hearts, and that’s because the Word prepares you for moments like this. When you keep truth inside of you, you understand that opposition is part of the walk. Anytime you’re trying to bring light into dark places, that darkness is going to push back. Anytime you try to warn people, guide them, or wake them up, something out here is going to try to block the message.So when I look at YouTube and the way they treat certain creators, it’s not surprising anymore — but it is disappointing. Creators put in hours of work, effort, research, creativity, and sometimes even resources they barely have, just to make a video that could help somebody else. And then the platform itself decides that the message doesn’t fit their agenda, so it gets pushed down. No notifications. No recommendations. No visibility.That’s a problem.This doesn’t just hurt creators. It hurts viewers who depend on those voices. It hurts people who need information that could help them grow, think, heal, or even protect themselves. And the sad part is that many people don’t even realize it’s happening. They wonder why they don’t see certain creators anymore. They think the creator stopped posting, when in reality, the creator is posting — YouTube just isn’t showing it.This is why I did the video today. Not to complain, but to bring awareness. To let people know that censorship is still very real, even on platforms that pretend otherwise. And to remind everyone that truth is always worth fighting for, no matter how many obstacles show up.If Jesus could keep going even when people tried to silence Him, then who are we to give up? We keep speaking, we keep creating, we keep sharing truth — because somebody out there needs it.

Family, I want to speak straight into somebody’s heart today, because this message is heavy in my spirit. We need to stop acting like we don’t have the greatest example right in front of us — Jesus Christ Himself. If we’re going to follow anybody’s footsteps, let it be His. Let’s go back to the moment that changed everything: the crucifixion. They didn’t just talk about Jesus.
They didn’t just disrespect Him.
They murdered Him — right there on the cross. He was hanging there in pain most of us couldn’t even imagine. His body was torn. His heart was hurting. The same people He came to save were the ones tearing Him down. And yet, in the middle of all of that torture, Jesus did something that shows us exactly how we are supposed to live: He said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Do you understand how powerful that is? He didn’t wait until the pain was over.
He didn’t wait until people apologized.
He didn’t wait for them to understand. Jesus forgave them right in the middle of the hurt.
Right in the middle of the betrayal.
Right in the middle of being wronged. And if He could do that… what is our excuse? If people hurt us, lie on us, backstab us, disappoint us, or break our hearts, we still have to find the strength — even if it’s shaking and messy — to say: “Lord, I forgive, even though it hurt me.” Not because the person was right.
Not because the pain disappears.
But because forgiveness sets YOUR soul free. 🌟 Nobody Has the Right to Count You Out — ONLY GOD DOES Let me make this loud and clear because people get real bold in church spaces: No one — not a leader, not a prophet, not a pastor, not a bishop, not a pope — has the right to decide who God accepts. That power belongs to God alone. People love to walk around acting like they hold the keys to heaven, like they can declare who is worthy and who is not. But the truth is: Only God sees the heart.
Only God decides destiny.
Only God says who makes it and who doesn’t. And God doesn’t count people out. So why are we letting others count us out?
Why are we counting ourselves out? 🌟 If Jesus Forgave His Murderers, You Don’t Get to Disqualify Yourself Think about this carefully: Jesus forgave the very people who nailed Him to a cross.
Jesus forgave the people who mocked Him and spit on Him.
Jesus forgave the ones who beat Him and betrayed Him. He forgave murderers. So what makes you think your mistakes are too big for God? Most of us have never done anything close to that level of wrong. So if Jesus looked down from that cross, saw the worst sin happening right in front of Him, and STILL forgave… You are not disqualified.
You are not too far gone.
You are not beyond grace. If Jesus can forgive those who killed Him, you can forgive yourself for the things you’ve been carrying for years. And more importantly: God already forgave you. 🌟 Preach the Gospel, Not Condemnation Our job as believers is simple: We preach the gospel.
We love people.
We encourage them.
We help them walk closer to Christ. We do NOT get to play judge.
We do NOT get to decide who is worthy.
We do NOT get to close doors God is trying to open. Only God chooses.
Only God qualifies.

There’s something I’ve been sitting with lately, and it keeps coming up every time I talk to people, pray, or just look at how the world is shifting. Somewhere along the way, church became more about walls, rules, and routines than the relationships Jesus actually modeled. And the funny thing is… God never did the majority of His work inside a building anyway. 😅When you read the stories, Jesus wasn’t hiding behind stained glass windows. He was walking in dusty streets, eating with people the church folks didn’t even want to claim, and showing love in places where religious leaders wouldn’t dare step foot. He was touching the “unworthy,” sitting with the broken, and speaking life into people who didn’t even feel seen. And it hit me: this is what God is still calling us to do today.Somewhere between mega-church lighting and “holiness committees,” church folks got real comfortable telling people everything that’s wrong with them instead of showing them what’s right about God. And let’s be real… that judgment spirit is loud 😂. Loud enough that people don’t even want to walk through the doors anymore. Not because they hate God — but because they’re tired of being told they’re never enough.But Jesus didn’t operate like that. He walked up to people like,
“Hey, how you doing? You hungry?”
And that simple act changed lives.Sometimes deliverance starts with a sandwich, not a sermon. 🍞✨And this is the part I shared on my podcast: the temple is inside of us. We are the church. When we step out into the world, God steps out with us. The gospel isn’t locked inside a building — it walks, talks, sits at tables, stands in store lines, speaks through kindness, and shows up in small conversations.Imagine how many lives could shift if we stopped trying to “fix” people and just started loving them right where they are. God didn’t wait for people to be cleaned up before He approached them — He met them in their mess. He loved them first. And that love made them want to change. Because when someone feels seen, valued, welcomed, and loved, something in them says, “I want to be better.” Not because they were scolded, but because they were loved into transformation.And here’s the real tea:
People don’t follow sermons — they follow love. They follow authenticity. They follow someone who sits with them without judging them. Your kindness preaches louder than any microphone ever could. 🎤💕Think about how many folks you’ve met in your life who changed not because someone preached “fire and brimstone,” but because someone said:
“I’m here for you.”
“You matter.”
“You can get through this.”
“You’re not alone.”That right there? That’s ministry.You’d be surprised how many people open their hearts just because someone noticed their new shoes 😂 or took thirty seconds to say, “Hey, how you holding up today?” Sometimes that’s all the invitation God needs to start working in someone’s life.So yes — the church left the building. And honestly, I think that’s exactly where God wanted it. Out in the open. In the conversations. In the love. In the human connection that we overlook every day.Because when people fall in love with who you are — the kindness, the compassion, the patience — they start wanting the God who helped shape you.And that’s the whole point. ❤️

One of the biggest lessons God keeps teaching me over and over again is this: you will never be perfect, and you will never outgrow your need for Him. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been saved, how often you pray, or how close you feel to the Lord—there will never be a day where you stop needing His strength, His wisdom, and His presence. For some reason, we get into this mindset that because we “know God,” we should automatically have everything under control. Like the moment we get saved, we’re supposed to magically handle every challenge with no fear, no discouragement, no weakness. But that’s not real life. And honestly, God never asked us to pretend like we’re superhuman. What He did ask is for us to trust Him. The truth is, trying to do everything on your own eventually leads to burnout. I’ve been there more times than I can count. Anytime I start feeling down, confused, weak, or like maybe I’m not measuring up, I remind myself of something simple but powerful: God is God… and I’m not. And because He is God, He has the power, the strength, and the solutions I don’t have. There have been days where I had to literally stop in the middle of what I was doing and say:

“Lord, I’m not doing good today. Lord, I need Your help. Lord, I’m feeling discouraged. Please step in because I can’t carry this by myself.” And every single time—without fail—God shows up. He doesn’t always change the situation immediately, but He comforts me, strengthens me, lifts my spirit, and reminds me that I’m not walking alone. That’s why we have to stop acting like we’re too strong, too spiritual, or too “put together” to call on His name. You are never too holy to have problems.

You are never too grown in God to struggle.
And you are never in a place where you don’t need Him. This podcast episode is about learning to let God be God. We have to stop picking up every weight like we’re supposed to handle it all by ourselves. God never asked us to be perfect—He asked us to depend on Him. So from this day forward, make it a habit to call on His name in everything. Not just when life falls apart, but in the small moments, the confusing moments, the emotional moments, and the quiet hours where you don’t even know what you’re feeling. Because I know some of you watch this in the morning, some at night, some in the middle of the day — but regardless of when you’re reading this, I pray God is holding you tight and keeping your mind steady. ❤️And today, I want to talk about something REAL. Something that so many of us deal with, especially during the holiday season. And if you take nothing else from this post, please take this:Stop trying to sit in rooms where God never told you to go. Stop forcing yourself into places where your spirit already told you you’re not welcome.A lot of y’all are pushing yourselves to attend gatherings, dinners, family events, and parties with people who barely tolerate you, let alone appreciate you. People who only invite you because it “looks right” or because someone else wanted you there — not because they wanted you there. And baby, that is not love. That is convenience.You do NOT have to do that to yourself anymore.We don’t beg for bread. We don’t beg for water. And we surely don’t beg for love from people who don’t even like themselves half the time. God already told you who you are — loved, chosen, worth more than rubies. So why are we still trying to prove ourselves to people who will never see us the way God sees us?Some of y’all walk into these family gatherings already feeling the heaviness. You walk in stiff. Uncomfortable. Quiet. Watching every little thing you say because you know someone at that table can’t stand you. And the whole time you’re there, your spirit is saying, Get up. Leave. You know you don’t belong here.Listen — sometimes the most powerful thing you can say is no.Not because you’re being rude. Not because you think you’re better. But because your peace matters more than sitting in a room full of people who roll their eyes when you walk out, talk about you behind your back, and pretend to pray over you when they’re really praying AGAINST you.Some of y’all know exactly what I’m talking about — those family members, those cousins, aunts, uncles, even parents… who smile in your face but got jealousy boiling in their heart. You can FEEL it. You can sense it. And you keep ignoring it because “it’s family.”But God never said to sit at a table where you are spiritually unsafe.
God said love your neighbor, yes — but He didn’t say live with them, eat with them, or entertain their foolishness.And hear me: just because one person at the gathering doesn’t like you doesn’t mean you have to isolate yourself from EVERYONE. Don’t let Jezebel whisper in your ear telling you lies. Don’t let that spirit make you suspicious of everyone. If there are people who truly love you, spend time with THEM. Celebrate with THEM.But don’t sacrifice your peace trying to “prove” anything.God will sometimes use rejection to protect you.
Sometimes being left out is actually God keeping you safe.
Sometimes that uneasy feeling is the Holy Spirit saying, “Not this table. Not this house. Not these people.”And you better listen.

And for many of us, that’s when the longing hits the hardest. We want love. We want connection. We want someone to hold us, appreciate us, and choose us.But on her “Bedtime Talk” podcast, Ya Girl Renae shared a truth that hit deep:
Before you ever receive love from another person, you have to know and trust that you are loved by God first.This message is powerful. And for some people, it’s exactly what their heart has been needing to hear.The holiday season has a way of magnifying everything—your joy, your memories, and yes, even your loneliness. You start reflecting on who’s missing, who you lost, who walked away, or who never showed up. Social media makes it even harder because you see couples posting pictures, families laughing together, and people opening gifts with big smiles.But God wants you to understand something important:Your value is not measured by who chooses you.
Your worth is not decided by who stays or who leaves.
You are already loved. You were loved first by God.Ya Girl Renae explained it beautifully:
Before God gives you a spouse, a relationship, a blessing, a friendship, a new opportunity, or anything valuable — He wants you grounded in His love first.Why?
Because if you don’t know who you are in God…
If you don’t know how loved you already are…
If you don’t understand your value…Then you will attach your heart to anybody who shows you a little attention.
You’ll settle for relationships that drain you.
You’ll stay in situations where you’re tolerated, not valued.
You’ll accept love that’s beneath what God intended for you.But when you understand that God loves you deeply, completely, and without conditions, everything changes. You stop chasing people. You stop begging for affection. You stop allowing the wrong voices to speak into your life.And you gain a peace that only comes from heaven.On the podcast, Renae reminded everyone of Isaiah 26:3 (NIV):“You will keep in perfect peace
those whose minds are steadfast,
because they trust in you.”God doesn’t want your mind overwhelmed, stressed, or anxious during the holidays.
He doesn’t want you on social media comparing your life to others.
He doesn’t want you crying at night because someone didn’t choose you.He wants you to have perfect peace—and that peace comes when you shift your focus back to Him.People can love you, but they can’t complete you.
People can care for you, but they can’t fill every empty place.
People can support you, but they can’t heal the wounds you’ve been carrying.Only God can do that.And when you know God loves you, you stop looking for other people to fill the spaces only He can fill.Before you hope for a relationship…
Before you wish for companionship…
Before you pray for someone to hold you…Know this: You are already held.
You are already seen.
You are already loved — deeply, fully, and forever — by God.Let His love be the foundation.
