But the reality is this: where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom, power, and life.

To walk in true power, one must walk in true belief. Faith is not halfway, selective, or occasional. It is an all-in commitment, anchored in God’s Word. The Bible makes it clear that belief in God and belief in His Word cannot be separated. If you do not believe what God has spoken, you cannot truly claim to believe in Him. His Word is His character, His promises, and His truth revealed to us. Without it, there is no foundation for power, no authority, and no lasting faith.John 1:1 declares, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” The Word is not just text on a page—it is living, breathing truth. When you open Scripture, you encounter the very heart and mind of God.

I just want to take a moment to speak from my heart today. This has been heavy on my spirit, and I know somebody out there needs this encouragement. One of the biggest lessons God has shown me is this: do not allow other people’s energy to set you back from the progress you have already made.See, sometimes we connect ourselves with people who truly don’t deserve us—not because we are better than them, but because they have not yet committed themselves to moving forward in Christ. They’re still holding on to the past, still stuck in cycles that God already delivered us from. And if we’re not careful, their energy, their choices, their unwillingness to grow can slow us down or even drag us backward.

In John 5:19–22, Jesus declares that He does nothing on His own but only what He sees His Father doing. He reminds us that the Father and the Son are one, working together in perfect unity, and that all authority to judge and give life has been entrusted to Him. These verses teach us something essential: our faith cannot be selective. We cannot choose only the parts of God’s truth that feel comfortable or convenient; we must believe in the entirety of who He is.
