Hotel Del Luna stars the fabulous IU (My Mister, Moon Lovers, When Life Gives You Tangerines) as Jang Man-Wol and the cutie pie Yeo Jin-Goo (The Crowned Clown, Link: Eat, Love, Kill) as Koo Chan-Sung. This story is about a mysterious hotel that caters only to ghosts. Man-Wol has been the hotel’s owner for years, cursed to stay there, while Koo Chan-Sung becomes the new manager. He helps the hotel’s ghostly clientele resolve their unfinished business before passing on to the afterlife.

This drama came out in 2019, and it still holds up today. It’s on Maddie’s top ten list, so that’s saying something! It has everything—fantasy, emotion, romance, cute banter, and humor. So let Hotel Del Luna be the next drama you watch!

Crushology 101 is over and both Elle and Maddie are super sad about it! Was this show a 10/10 slam-dunk? Not quite. But it did have sooo many great parts and made them crazy emo every week.

Christina & Elle are here to debrief about the first two episodes of Tastefully Yours! This drama seems like it will be a short and sweet rom com with funny banter and great townspeople. 

This kdrama stars Kang Ha-Neul (When the Camellia Blooms, Squid Game 2, Moon Lovers) and Go Min-Shi (Love Alarm, Sweet Home, The Frog). Kang Ha-Neul plays a rich entitled company man who wants to get into business with Go Min-Si who has a one-table restaurant in Jeonju. He is passionate about making money and she is passionate about local ingredients and making delicious food. 

Chaos ensues. Great townspeople activated. Yummy food displayed. Constant banter between the two leads who are clearly attracted to each other. SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT TIME.

Tastefully Yours is on Netflix and new episodes come out every Monday & Tuesday. This drama will be ten episodes.

Spring of Youth is a short, sweet college idol drama, and the actual definition of unserious.  Elle and Maddie have never seen a drama cram this amount of plot into the first two episodes, and they’re cracking up because they cannot begin to guess where this story is going.

If you love fun, lighthearted, Disney Channel coded KDramas - THIS ONE’S FOR YOU. LOL.

THE LADIES HAVE MADE IT (well, two of the Pod Sisters did - we love you, Elle😘). Out of all the endings that could have happened, they were not expecting this outcome and BOY did they have THOUGHTS. 

Maddie and Christina do a deep dive of the ending and discuss their comments, questions, and concerns. They felt that the fourth prince did a complete 180 at the end and still have not recovered by what they witnessed from the end of the drama. 

In this final review, the ladies talk about the ending first and then back track through some of their favorite scenes from the show. Did Hae-Su deserve her ending? Did Maddie & Christina miss the message of the story? But really…. Are they the only ones feeling this way about the ending?

Crushology 101 is a super cute, fluffy college drama that is seeming to be a perfect spring binge. Maddie and Elle loved the first two episodes, and have (obviously) given every male lead a nickname already. Do you ship her with Tablet Boy, Chaebol Boy, Sculpture Boy, or 4th Male Lead We Haven’t Met Yet? All great options, honestly. (HINT: ELLE AND MADDIE LOVE TABLET BOY. HE’S SOOOOOOO HOT. MAINLY BC HE’S SOOOOOO HOT.)

Christina & Elle review Her Private Life! Both of them LOVE this show and first watched it during the pandemic when they weren’t full blown fan girls yet. BTS was the only group Elle was into up until that point (WILD, RIGHT????). 

Her Private Life stars Park Min-Young as Deok-Mi (Healer, What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?) and Kim Jae-Wook as Ryan Gold (Melo Movie, Crazy Love). Deok-Mi is an art curator who secretly runs a fan site for her ult bias and Ryan becomes the new director of that art museum. Deok-Mi is strong, passionate, and loves what she does at work and in her personal life. 

In this review, the ladies gush about their biases (JK & Wooyoung), how they relate to the female lead as a fan, and how they wish Ryan Gold was a real person. Christina & Elle gush about the leads and love how the drama has a little bit of everything. 

If you haven’t seen this sweet drama, watch it because you won’t regret it!
