    Someone in Elkie’s Bible study asked a question she couldn’t shake: if God knows everything, why did Jesus pick Judas? It’s a fair question. And the answer turns out to be one of the most fascinating threads in all of scripture, running straight from King David’s Psalms to the temple floor where Judas threw down 30 pieces of silver. Elkie digs into it all in this episode, looking at why Judas was chosen, what kind of man he actually was, and what the story of Pharaoh has to do with a man who sat across the table from Jesus and still walked away.
