This week, David is joined by colleague Steven Schwartz as they answer a listener's question of why he keeps seeing dog food ads as he surfs the internet. This practice of remarketing is explained as well as how cookies provide this info to advertisers. We also get helpful tips on entrepreneurship as many folks are looking to supplement their retirement income. We learn about creating a website, designing logos and the importance of using social media to promote our new business.

Today's program is a tutorial on purchasing televisions from name brands to lesser known brands that may be more affordable and offer exactly what we are looking or. David also previews a future episode on understanding and managing bill paying.

David helps a neighbor with a printer and learns that he doesn't know as much as he had thought but manages to get the job done. We learn about David's earliest roots in radio and technology going back to Junior High School with a transistor radio and a tape recorder. And later during his college years, we discover how Orson Wells "War of the Worlds" inspired and solidified David's love of the medium. We finish with a discussion of the power of the iPad, and just how much it can do.

This week David shares and mocks, a condescending article that was sent to him with a dramatic reading, complete with old time music of, "How to become tech savvy seniors in ten days", although he does find a few useful resources in the article. Later we learn how in some relationships one partner is the tech expert and advises that the techie leave some written notes including passwords to the accounts just in case the tech partner passes first. We conclude with some of David's recommendations of some of his favorite TV series on streaming services.
