Hope you enjoy this short Christmas episode. I share some fun stories from Christmases past, a personal tale of a family member that passed away, and I even included 2 of the songs I released this year. Merry Christmas! Yakking With Yordy will be back sometime in 2018!

We talked about the direction of the music industry, trying to make it as a pop punk band and we even realized that both of our former bands recorded in the same studio with the same producer. Joel Hanson’s songwriting as the lead singer of PFR and beyond is what sparked a desire in me to be a songwriter more than 20 years ago. It was my privilege to have him on the show and learn about some of the history of PFR as well as his latest solo album, Let Me Tell You Everything. You’ll also get to hear about that one really embarrassing time when teenage-me thought PFR could benefit from my songwriting skills.
