I am so happy to be able to be writing my 31st newsletter for Yamanote Tech and society podcast. I started this podcast in October where I was looking to start building my business as an entrepreneur who wanted to teach people about how the internet works today in 202. So being able to convey an idea to a stranger is going to be key. So what better way to practice that then by learning to be a gig freelancer. In order to sell something you need to be able to convince your audience you are not full of shit. You can definitely do this by loving that you do. Being passionate about something you can definitely prove to someone that what your trying to sell can help them because it helps you.

This is why I have decided to take this course. I also decided to ask another entrepreneur to talk to me about building your business.

This interview I talk with him in hopes to learn more about building a business on your own and even in a country that is not your own. Aaron was born in Canada and  graduated from college before embarking on an adventure that he would continue for over 20 years!

Interview 002 | Angee the Diva | Tonight is Part 2 of the Interview

The second interview I actually had issues trying to use anchor.fm and I was forced to use Facebook video chat which went quite well. The sound quality was great and the conversation went smoothly. Angee was able to address the topics I had in mind and we went off topic a bit about the coronavirus outbreak and how it is hurting the economy in Vietnam. She went into more detail about my interest in raising children in a foreign land but I later learned the kids moved back to the states where they live with their father to attend formal school.

Recently I sat down with Entrepreneur, Rapper, Photographer and  Teacher  Rhyming Gaijin  aka Rhyming Matthew. He has been building his brand for over a decade. When I was listening to podcasts, and watching youtube videos I often like to see normal people talking about living in Japan especially foreigners. After several weeks of requesting an interview for this podcast I finally was able to chat with him for a few hours about his latest works and what he thinks about the future of Social media and entertainment.

This is going to be a 2 part series dedicated to making sure I get as much content to explain this properly I also will be writing an article about the entire interview to practice on my pen skills.
