As the Yankees try to get healthy, with Luis Severino and Zach Britton starting their rehab assignments,  we ask can they hit. Ryan leads Jose and Brian through this week's Yankees Weekly Update as we look into the Yankees' overall hitting, baserunning, and defensive struggles. Next, we play a quick game of who we would want to fix in the Yankees roster if we had magical powers. Finally, Brian closes it out with a new edition of This Day in Yankee History. 

After the last episode and sweeping the Whits Sox, Jose, Ryan, and Brian were in high spirits, but it did not last long. Since then, Kluber and Voit were placed on the IL. Then the Yankees got swept by the worst team in the MLB, the Detriot Tigers. This series was fueled by bonehead decisions by Aaron Boone that made us feel very uncertain about the future of this Yankees team. 

Cory Klubers no-hitter was by far the best moment in Yankee baseball this week, but it was not the only great moment with the Yankees sizzling hot. Jose, Ryan, and Brain go over the week in Yankees baseball, covering the recent injuries of Aaron Hicks and the possible return of some pitching arms. We, of course, hit on the high notes of the fantastic starting rotation shutting people down, along with the sweep of the Chicago White Sox's.

The New York Yankees find their stride despite Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Hicks picking up injuries and Gleyber Torres testing positive for COVID-19. Jose, Ryan, and Brian talk on the Yankees' odd lineups and still pulling off series win after series win, despite injuries and some inconsistent pitching. 

The Yankees have been turning it around this season, going 7-2 in the homestand, and won their first game against the Tampa Bay Rays. All signs are point upward, and Jose, Ryan, and Brain are happy with the Yankees' recent play. We went over the series victories of the Houston Astros and Washington Nationals and prepared for the return of Luke Voit and the rest of the series against the Rays. 

The Yankees are hot after sweeping the Detroit Tigers, and the best team they could face after that is the Houston Astros. Jose, Ryan, and Brian go over this week's news, including Luke Voit continued to rehab and Cole and Kluber both winning pitching awards, while Chapman was robbed of one. The guys then went into a quick recap of the Tigers series so that they could dive right into the Astros game. We re-hashed all the emotions that led up to the game and praised the fans who attended the game. 

With the Yankees winning five of their last eight games, Jose, Ryan, and Brian talk about what that means and how the Yankees have started to play how they should. Ryan also gives over this week's news, including the Mike Tacuhman trade for Wandy Peralta and injury updates on Luke Voit and Zack Britton. We also went over the games over last week highlights our favorite moments, now that there are some moments to pick from. 

The Yankees continue to struggle and still need a spark after getting swept in the Bronx by the Tampa Bay Rays. Jose, Ryan, and Brian talk about all the news and give their thoughts on possible fixes and the underlining issues plaguing this rough start to the season. They look ahead and talk about how the Yankees can turn it around before next week's episode. 

With Brian back from vacation, the whole gang is back together, just in time to talk about the Yankee's slow start out of the gates. Jose, Ryan, and Brian go over the Yankee's struggles at the plate, along with the surprise highlights of the bullpen. We also go into the new positional battles between Clint Frazier vs. Brett Gardner and Rougned Odor vs. Jay Bruce. The talk goes into a deep look into the Yankee's struggle with the Tampa Bay Rays and the overall lineup contraction. 

With Brian on vacation, Jose and Ryan go over this week's news, including Mike Tauchman taking ground balls first and the Yankees trading for Rougned Odor. With only five games under the Yankees belt, Jose and Ryan went into the overreaction by Yankee fans about the hitting with runners in scoring potions against the Blue Jays. With the bats coming alive in the Baltimore Oriels series, we might start to see the Yankees begin to heat up.
