Adam Weinrib and Thomas Carannante are livid. The Yankees have been swept (again!) by the Boston Red Sox, this time at Fenway Park. And this one was much more embarrassing than the last. The lack of identity is a colossal problem. The stats with runners in scoring position, the poor defense, the non-existent fundamentals -- it all has to do with whatever is trickling down from the front office to the dugout and then to the players. This team will need what feels like a miracle to make a World Series run. The Yankees are much closer to making drastic changes than doing that.
