A Good Buy
Surprisingly good! Well worth the buck ninety-nine price. I would buy others. Some plot twists a bit unbelievable but it still kept me involved.
I could do with less emotional maundering & the reason for Sam not being with the woman he loves really wasn't believable. He's bad luck? Then why doesn't he split with his partner too? Factual lore of the desert was a plus for me, I like to learn from what I read and I appreciate of the accurate descriptions of the guns in the story. All in all, a pleasant surprise.

An interesting history storyline about Clint Walker's involvement in writing this book. It's a long, long, long western story; interesting and entertaining until the end. Plenty of action, bad guys and good guys and gal as well. If you like western suspense, action, the desert, and good western plots, you'll enjoy this story. It's a winner.
Yaqui Gold is Real Gold for the Readers
If you love well written westerns, this book is for you. The descriptions of the characters bring them to life giving the book reality to an imaginary person and story line. I appreciate that this author takes the time and research to make it real. I recommend this book to young and old as there is no vulgarity to discourage young readers.

Excellent characters and storyline!!!
Great western full of adventure and true-to-life historical characters that you like immediately. Enjoyed the well-told action and felt the pain of the conflicts, mental and physical. I did not want the story to end and can't wait for Book 2 !! Hope to read it soon Clint and Kirby. Great job!!!
