In this episode, part 2 of the 3 part series, Brett talks about how with already two bonds to his name, standing in Campbelltown Court as a 17 year old after not being picked for the NSW State Team even though he knew he was the best player nearly cost him his career in Golf
He also discusses playing with Jack Nicklaus, how helpful Seve was to him in Europe and how John Daly put $500,000 on the blackjack table in Perth the night before the Vines Classic before JD went out and shot 92 the first round. John left his clubs behind and they were auctioned for $10,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation which Brett personally supported for close to 20 years
Brett Ogle was adopted at birth, he grew up in Goulburn NSW, and started playing Golf at the age of 11.
He is known around the world as one of the best ball strikers to ever play the game. Moe Norman even went to watch him hit balls on the range twice
He won 15 tournaments worldwide including two European tour events and two US Tour events
He was ranked in the top 50 in the world in 1993, he has played in all four majors, he has led the US Masters, had lunch at Arnold Palmer's house and had a few run in's with Greg Norman over the years
He is great friends with John Daly and Phil Mickelson, he shared many stories that you will probably never hear anywhere else
I will split the 3 1/2 hours of audio we recorded into 3 x 40 minute parts. The content is too good not to share with you all
