Prof Jonathan Annan is an Associate Professor of Logistics, Operations and Supply Chain Management at Strathmore University Business School, Nairobi, kenya. Prof Annan has over 20 years’ experience in Operations, Procurement and Supply Chain Management. His research has won multiple awards including the 2017 Global Innovation and Knowledge Academy Best Conference Paper. Until his appointment at Strathmore Business School, he was the Director of CILT professional education in Logistics and Transport and Deputy Director of West African Institute of Supply Chain leadership (WAISCL)—Kwame Nkrumah University of science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. He has authored three books on operations and supply chain management and consulted for several companies and Government of Ghana on Transportation, procurement Operations and Supply Chain management Policies.

He has recently been working with a Silicon Valley AI company on the new field of decision intelligence and is currently the head of supply chain for the manufacturing technology center, the UK's innovation hub designed to bridge the gap between academic research and industrial application.
