Yavapai College Community Education - Sedona is pleased to announce a Plein Air Painting Workshop featuring Flagstaff artist Dawn Sutherland from August 1 – 3, 2023. Sedona is a beautiful and challenging place to paint. In this three-day workshop, participants will carpool/caravan to various painting sites around Sedona. Dawn will demonstrate two basic approaches to beginning a painting, using a viewfinder, sketchpad, and thumbnail sketches, designing a good composition, and carrying it through to a nearly finished painting in each session.
