On this episode of YBO, we started our discussion talking about the movie, "Get Out" by Jordan Peele and why it is a definite must see (Spoiler Alert).
Then we shifted gears to some local news regarding the Milwaukee Public School system deciding to adopt a uniform policy. Also in local news, we shed some light on the Milwaukee Bucks selecting a local African American developer to construct a 90 unit apartment project near the new Bucks Arena. Next, we gave some iPhone safety tips to make sure your information is secure and we also got into some self care tips for black men on how to keep the mind, body, and spirit intact. We then reviewed our question of the week from last week and shared our thoughts.
In other news, we dissected the Remy and Nikki Minaj beef, more specifically, the Remy 7 minute Shether diss record. Lacie then explains why she may no longer be fan of Chris Brown. We showed some love to the HBCU school, Savannah State, that won the cheerleading nationals. Everyone shared their opinion on a controversial Instagram picture that comedian, Corey Holcomb, commented on.
On the topic of love and relationships, Mwanje shares his ideas on dating and what he believes it to be while Lacie and Reese ideas are slightly different. We then discussed the #strandedbae incident and the antics regarding that situation along with discussing an article about sex and friendships.
Like always, Reese delivers her "Annon" and we ended the episode with our quote of the week, empowerment of the week, and new question of the week.
