Mishelle Calvert was last seen on May 8, 2017, & her vehicle was recovered in Charlotte, NC, on May 30, 2017. Calvert was staying in Rock Hill, SC, for about one month, and was supposed to return to Florida on May 8, 2017. She has not made it to Florida and is not answering her cell phone. She is believed to of been traveling to Miami, Florida, at the time of her disappearance. 

• AGE: 54 at the time she was reported missing – Now would be 58.

• HEIGHT: 5’ 5” 

• WEIGHT: 200 lbs.

• LAST SEEN: May 8th, 2017 Bonnybrook Cir. Rock Hill Heard from near I-77 & I-85 in Charlotte, NC

On this YCSO Behing the Badge we dive into history and an interesting story from a book written by a local author and historian Jerry L. West called ’50 Ways to Die – Homicides, Accidents, Suicides, Infanicides and Acts of Mother Nature.’ One short story in the book took place 112 years ago of the last execution performed by a York County Sheriff. We also read from the news paper article about the public execution which drew 'hundreds of spectators'. 

It takes months of training before a Deputy with the YCSO is allowed to police by themselves. Before there's the the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy there's YCSO SORD. 

Starting May 6th at 9:00 P.M. for 17-Days  The I-77 southbound bridge over the Catawba River in York County is scheduled for major repairs. During construction, the southbound bridge will have to be closed and southbound traffic will be diverted to the northbound bridge. This closure is planned to  last through May 23rd at 5:00 A.M. On this bonus edition of Behind the Badge we talk with Deputy Quinn with the Traffic Enforcement Unit on how you can prepare and be safe during the project. 

Harry Caraway was the manager of the Yellow Freight terminal in Rock Hill, SC. His body was found at Yellow Freight on Easter Sunday April, 11 1993. Caraway had been shot to death after an apparent struggle. After 28 years YCSO Detectives are still looking for his killer.

The week of April 19, 2021 25 members of the YCSO SWAT Team and some members of the Rock Hill PD SWAT team went to school... SWAT School. On this edition of Behind the Badge Lt. Heath Clevenger tells us all about YCSO SWAT.

From scammers to child predators, the Detectives of the Cyber Crimes and Digital Forensics work tirelessly to track them all down. Most recently the team arrested 10 potential child predators in a months long investigation called Operation Home Alone.
