Do all the people in the dance agree that we're well qualified to represent the LBC? Probably not, but we do love to dance to the rhythm, it gets harder. We're back after a much-needed Thanksgiving break to discuss Sublime's 1996 self-titled album. 

Discussion includes: how this album gives us "beachy" vibes; that awkward moment when "Caress Me Down" comes on the radio while you're in the car with your parents; the message in "April 29, 1992" that is probably even more relevant today; what Bradley Nowell would be writing about if he were still alive today; if you love your Dalmatian, set it free... if it comes back, it was meant to be; and Edith Bunker stops by at the end of the show to throw in her two cents - which was a lot of money back in her day!

About a month ago, we recorded a lovely episode about Blink's 1999 album "Enema of the State" only to witness the band going back to its original line-up before we released it. If there's anything we at Ye Olde Playlist love more than talking about our favorite bands, it's talking about them a second time.

Halloween is fast approaching, and what an appropriate time to drop an episode about one of our favorite spooky bands, Alkaline Trio! We talk about their 2001 album "From Here to Infirmary" and all it's sonic splendor.

Discussion includes: the time we saw Alkaline Trio live; the time we DIDN'T see Alkaline Trio live; how listening to them helps when recovering from medical procedures; their cover of a Muppets' song; Juliana breaks Meghan's brain with more stuff she'd forgotten from 20 years ago; fond memories of our grandparents and their dentures; taking precautions at concerts to NOT get your teeth kicked out; the movie that ruined the band Aerosmith for Meghan; and we applaud Alkaline Trio for supporting and fundraising for women's reproductive rights.
