Jesus declared the end before the beginning. That is why our souls have already been informed by heaven of the good to expect from God. Because Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith, we must in the beginning of every faith test expect to grow in grace and virtue. Expect to see Jesus supply every provision for the race and the warfare. Trust is grounded by expectation. It is when God’s word proves true to us that our trust matures, and our souls keep prospering. For every faith test, plan to walk through to reach that future and hope Jesus promised.
