We've been away while Russ joined the Dad Club, making this episode the first offering in a glorious new era of Dad Pod Broadcasting. And what better Father's Day gift than to be forced to listen to three tired Dads talking at you about films they like. You stop anyone on the street and ask them to list the Oscar winners from 1955 and they'll have gotten all the way to The Bridges at Toko-Ri before you can say 'please'. Aliens, Top Gun, Short Circuit, HIGHLANDER for goodness sake! A massive year for film, and apparently an even more massive year for Toby, though he won't say why. And the revelation that, as all serious film podcasters know, the mark of quality is not the depth of your knowledge or how many films you've seen, it's just how many can you mention in passing within 90 minutes. By that metric, this is top drawer stuff.
