I can, yes, because I was deeply involved with the events at that time.
The year 1816 is known in the earthly annals as the 'year without summer'.
The reason for this is based on the fact that in the year 1816 a huge eruption of the 2,850
meter high volcano Tambora took place in the north of the 13,980 square kilometre large
Sundainsel Sumbawa in Indonesia.
During the ejection about 156 cubic kilometres of lava were ejected and scattered over a
huge area of more than 0.5 million square kilometres.
The eruption caused drastic climatic changes worldwide, and consequently the weather
also had catastrophic consequences, leading to crop failures and great famines all around,
causing hundreds of thousands of human beings to starve to death all over the Earth.
This, in addition to the fact that the direct consequences of the volcanic eruption itself killed
16,482 human beings.
As a result of the great famine, human beings poached wild animals, which led to the total
or partial extinction of many of them.
In the northern hemisphere, North America and Europe were particularly affected by the
