Buzz, buzz, buzz, and welcome back! It's been way too long since we've talked about our favorite show. I'm your host, Emily, and in this episode we're diving into all the Yellowjackets news that's trickled out since filming on the fourth and final season began earlier this year.

We'll cover the latest casting announcements, behind-the-scenes photos, cast interviews, and what the cast has had to say about saying goodbye to a show that's been such a huge part of their lives. And of course, we'll be theorizing along the way like we always do.

Fair warning: there are a few potential spoilers discussed throughout the episode. I'll give you a heads-up before I get into any of them, but I wanted to mention it here as well.

Buzz buzz buzz and welcome back to the Yellowjackets Hive! Join along as Emily goes through and breaks down some of the theories the fandom latched onto along the way that ended up fizzling out completely.

Who could forget Javi being Adam? Or Callie being Pit Girl in the present day? Though the theories may have been incorrect, the creativity was beyond anything imaginable with some of the theories that have come up through seasons 1-3.

Emily will be covering both Euphoria (premiering 4/12) and FROM (premiering 4/19)! Euphoria coverage will be split into two parts covering the season in two chunks. Buzz buzz buzz, and welcome back to the Yellowjackets Hive! For Emily's first livestream of 2026 that is dedicated to Yellowjackets and the upcoming final season.

It only felt right to add to the recent buzz and news that's been released regarding the cast FINALLY heading back to Vancouver to start filming the final season, and some casting announcements as well.

For this episode, I hope you've got your tin foil hats ready and waiting! We all still have A LOT of unanswered questions about what may end up playing out when the show returns later this year. So join me in the fun of analyzing, dissecting, and endlessly speculating about theories pertaining to the final season that are floating around the fandom.

Some topics discussed: Akilah's potential fate moving forward (especially after they released news stating she has been promoted to a series regular), a possible return to the wilderness in the present day, a potential Final Destination tie-in, how things could end up playing out for both Jeff and Callie, and a whole lot more.

Theorizing is one of my favorite aspects of podcasting, so this episode was a ton of fun to prepare for and discuss. There is a possibility of a follow-up/part 2 episode regarding theories about the final season. That will happen closer to when the show is back on the air, so keep your eyes peeled for an announcement about that when the time comes!

It's such a treat to be chatting about the show that got me into podcasting and content creation once again. It's a little bittersweet knowing that this is the last time we'll get the chance to craft theories and figure out plot points week to week. Buzz buzz buzz Yellowjackets Hive, and welcome back for another hiatus episode. While this isn't a character deep dive per se, I figured it was only fair to give Coach Ben his fifteen minutes in the spotlight after everything he's been through.

Regardless of whether you were a Coach Ben stan or despised him, there is no denying how much his death served as the catalyst for everything that we saw unfold at the tail end of season three and what's still to come in the final season. He really was the bridge!

We will discuss Coach Ben's character arc overall and how integral he was in driving things forward, some "issues" regarding him within the fandom, and just show him a little love. As always, thanks for watching/listening :)

Buzz buzz buzz Yellowjackets Hive! Buzz in for the October (I apologize for the delay in uploading to Spotify!) installment in our character deep dive series. We are rounding out the last of our main characters in this deep dive, one very close to my heart, Miss Natalie Scatorccio herself.

Although Natalie was not physically present in the adult timeline of season 3, it's apparent that her memory will never fade. I mean come on, Misty took her leather jacket from that storage locker and probably hasn't even taken it off to shower. Nat will never truly die for MFQ.

We dive deep, discussing her role as a leader amongst the group in the wilderness, the role she played in their eventual rescue, her relationship with Travis, the decisions and choices she made to protect both herself and others, what happened post-wilderness, and A LOT more.

Nat has been such an integral part of the story so far, with both Juliette Lewis and Sophie Thatcher helping to craft such a wonderfully deep and conflicted character. Can't wait to chat all about her! Buzz in for a fun discussion. As always, thanks for watching/listening :)

Buzz buzz buzz Yellowjackets Hive and welcome back, it's been a minute! For today's episode we will be continuing on with our character deep dive series, featuring none other than our resident storyteller extraordinaire, Van Palmer herself.

While Van's arc in the present day may have been short-lived, it was nevertheless important and impactful, for reasons we will discuss. We will also go through Van's arc overall, her wavering belief in "it", and of course her relationship with Tai. We will also do a little speculating about what the ripple effects of her death could be in the present day.

For the month of October we will forge on and cover Natalie. Don't forget, October begins Off Season Specials, with coverage of the new Apple TV+ show "The Last Frontier", which premieres October 10th! Buzz buzz buzz Yellowjackets Hive and welcome back for the latest installment in the character deep dive series! For the month of August, we are diving deep into the world of the ever mythical and always enigmatic, Lottie (Charlotte) Matthews.

Lottie has always been somewhat of a mystery. Why did her parents send her to Switzerland of all places? What was her transition like once she was released? How did she start her "intentional community"? The mysteries surrounding Lottie, particularly in the present day, seem to be never-ending.

And, what comes next for Lottie in the wilderness? We know she doesn't want rescue to come, so what is the next step for her after Nat reveals she made contact with the outside world? My guess is, that whole situation won't go over well. Speculate along with me as to what we could see next from Lottie out in the woods.

For the month of September we will be covering none other than our resident storyteller, Van Palmer. Then in October we will dive into Nat!
