God chooses leaders by His standards not ours. Meet Deborah the only female judge in Israel. Mistakenly attributed Deborah's leadership for lack of a male who could stand up but this is false. She was chosen by God in a unique leadership style unlike her male counter parts. In her femininity, and as a wife she courageously commanded respect even from the military general Barak. You don't have to be roughed up like a man to be an effective leader. God wants to use you in your uniqueness as a woman.

The current economic situation announces doom day after day. From rising interests rates, cost of rent, food and gas, many are struggling to meet even the basic life needs such as food, shelter and clothing. At a time like this our faith can deflate and wither. However in Matt 6:25-33 Jesus encourages us to not worry because our heavenly Father knows we need all these things. He wants us to shift our priority and focus from worry onto Him. In other words when economy is at its worst inflate your faith by trusting in God

Having someone on speed dial is to ensure that in case of emergency it takes only one click and you are connected to them. Most of the times the people we have on our speed dial are limited in what they can do in terms of helping us with our situation. In this episode, we see two men who had a life crisis that required major intervention. Who do you turn to in times of trouble.

In our society there's fair weather love and lover simply by the way we have created this idea of what love is and how it should be expressed. It's easy to love when all the right conditions are aligned -the perfect weather, but that is not reality. Imagine the feeling of finding the perfect lover who falls for you when you are at your worst; looking crusty without make up, hair nor teeth brushed, but they love you for who you are not how you look. This is how God demonstrated His love for us; when we were yet sinners, rebelling against Him (Romans 5:8). He gives us a sure promise that nothing will separate us from His love not even death (Rom *:38-39). The highest institution which is marriage allows commitment to broken through death but not God's love. It transcends death.  This Valentine's I give you the greatest lover of all times- Jesus Christ.
