Different between 'hiking' and 'climbing' is.

Hiking means activity of taking long walks in moutains.

Climbing means sport of climbing rocks.

Highlight / Tint

A: I'm thinking to hightlight my hair

A: Oh~ how would you like your hair ( what colour would you want ? )

H: Maybe..... red highlight?

A: A nice plan

Highlight means to make some parts of your hair a lighter colour then the rest. It's Normal Spoken English.

*Opp : lowlights

*Syn : dye

Tint means a small amount of particular colour. Also can use for to change the colour of your hair. It's Standard English.

Fascinating / Tube

A: I'm gonna watch a movie

H: Did you watch a movie ' About Time'?

A: No, not yet~

H: it's my favourite movie. lt's so fascinating~~

A: Oh~ It's fascinating? I'm gonna watch it

H: I should go. I will take tube. bye

A: Take care.

Fascinating means extremely interesting in normal BriE, while you can say 'exciting' in normal AmE.

*Syn : exciting / interesting

Tube means the system of trains that run under the ground in London. It's spoken british English also can use underground.

*Syn : subway(Ame) / Underground (bri)

Outing

H: Hi~! Where are you going now?

A: Hi~! i’m going to club outing.

H: Okay, enjoy your time~

A: What did you do last weekend?

H: I have been to family outing when I have in summer vacation with my family.

A: Sounds nice.

Outing means to go out for fun with someone in group. You can give a title of a group to the front of ‘outing’ for school, company, and club etc purpose.
