In comedy improv, one of the rules is “Yes, And”. You take whatever your improve teammate gives you, and you build on that – no matter what. If your improv teammate identifies you a rapper, you then become a rapper – you don’t challenge it. Imagine how your leadership techniques could benefit from this type of approach. Instead of saying, “No, because,” try saying, “Yes, and.”
