Many of us have by now heard about Project 2025, a 922-page document crafted by the ultra-conservative think tank, the Heritage Foundation. The authors of Project 2025’s “Mandate for Leadership” gives a future conservative president a roadmap for how to decimate reproductive and LGBTQ rights, undermine racial justice, dehumanize immigrants, privatize government services, accelerate climate change, and so much more.
So, how are people responding to that? Is there a comprehensive progressive counter-agenda designed to improve conditions for and safeguard the rights of all people?
At YES! Media, for nearly 30 years we’ve been reporting on the solutions that center human and planetary needs. That’s why we’ve launched Progress 2025, a hub for the big ideas—and grassroots methods—that offers a hopeful, collective vision countering the toxic individualism and authoritarianism of Project 2025. We will be publishing new, original stories every week that expand the framework of what is possible under a Progress 2025 vision.
