The story of the life of Phillip Cooper and how he came from drug addiction to greatness, this man has truly walked, ran, crawled through and transformed his life into a purpose to live.

Philip grew up in Columbia South Carolina It’s where his classmates and friends fought for position in projects like Sexton homes, Henly homes, Gonzale gardens, Fairfield Arms, King's court and The Bishop, Most of them lost their lives in freedom because they didn’t beat the odds. His mother raised three siblings and me by herself because my pops was a heroin addict. His oldest brother was the first to get lost in the sauce of the street life breaking in houses, stealing cars and selling drugs. Even though his mother did all she could to stop Philip from following the footsteps of his brother, her tough love and butt whoopings didn’t do any good.

James Roberts was born with a congenital disability called femoral dysplasia of the left leg; also known as Proximal femoral focal deficiency (PFFD) or as Congenital Femoral Deficiency (CFD), is a rare, non-hereditary birth defect that affects the pelvis, particularly the hip bone, and the proximal femur. The disorder may affect one side or both, with the hip being deformed and the leg shortened. As well as a floating hip and scoliosis of the spine.

James believes it is the mindset that set him up to win in later life and go on to represent England at 4  world championships among others as well as two Paralympics.
