Monday of the Nineteenth Week in Ordinary Time. Father Dave reflects on today's Old Testament reading in which Elijah feels defeated and prays for death. An angel appears to Elijah and encourages him to eat and have food for the journey. This one meal kept Elijah alive for 40 days.
