Hello! Hivers. Welcome to HiveopenMic Week 218. It's your girl @yhubee. I trust you all are in good health? I am glad I can still engage in this week's contest though it's pretty late.

My entry for this week is Westlife's version of "You raise me up". My voice isn't really good but I believe you'd still be happy listening to the song. I choose this song because lately I've been having series of challenges both personal and at school. All in all, God has continuously raised me up and given me victory.

It takes the strength from God for us to stay unshaken in the face of every trials. I try and sometimes it doesn't work as I plan but God has given me the spirit of resilience to remain unwavering.

Everyone has his or her own story to tell but regardless, God is still in the business of raising us up.

Hi ! It's Hives Vibes Web 3 Music Competition Week 13. I am @yhubee.

My entry for this week is one of my favorite songs. It is titled **"Older" by Sasha Sloan. This is one of the songs that I like so much. Marriage is a lifetime commitment. As such , we should be mindful of who we choose to be our lifetime partner. Not one that'd end with the parents separating. This always have a huge impact on the children.

The artist must have grown up in a violent home. This, this affected her as a child. The truth is, it takes only a strong and determined soul to pull out from family trends.

I hope you find this song interesting and worth engaging.

My song title is "My Life is in Your Hands" by Kirk Franklin". I am inspired to sing this song because my life has been a testimony. I mean life is not all rosy. I encounter so many difficulties: some that even leave me in a state of dilemma. Despite all of this I gain my strength from my belief that God is in the centre of it all, so I can overcome all things.

I take my inspiration from the lines that say, "But they didn't understand it and I tried to make them see that one is only poor only if they choose to be".

Hello everyone, I am @yhubee and it's HiveopenMic Week 211. The theme for the week is "Breath". For this week's contest I choose to sing one of the wonderful songs of Cece Winans titled "Goodness of God".

I am inspired to sing this song because it resonates with the theme which is Breath. God is the reason why I am breathing.

We go out on daily basis to seek greener pastures. Some people encounter series of challenges and constraints. Most people even die while on it. To be alive isn't because we are better than them but because God has chosen us to live.

This song is my way of returning all the glory to him because His goodness is running after me. With every breath that I am able, I will sing of the goodness of God.
