Bridgett Burrick Brown, midwesterner turned New Yorker is a mom, model, activist, and entrepreneur.
She has been a professional model for 20+ years. During those years she has done runway, editorials such as Korean and Australian Vogue, advertising campaigns, and countless commercial work shooting with photographers such as Bruce Weber, Norman Jean Roy, and Ben Watts.
Bridgett is also the founder of the Beyond Beauty Project — a movement to help improve self-esteem and confidence around body image and mental health. This multi-media platform includes both a podcast and workshops providing a safe space for conversations surrounding beauty and self-loving care.
As a qualified personal trainer and holistic health counselor, she knows how valuable it is for women to understand and nurture their bodies. Though her experiences as a model helped shape her personal understanding of beauty, her encounters with life’s hardships taught her that being beautiful and feeling beautiful were two very different things. She is passionate about helping others with resilience and redefining the meaning of beauty, knowing all too well that beauty is an inside job.
