Welcome back to the YogaLion Podcast! In this week's episode, I share the mic with one of the newest members of my family, my cousin-in-law (& friend!) Liz. Liz came to yoga as a way to continue to express her love of movement and stayed for the nurturing community that she found. From community yoga, trauma-informed veterans yoga, core power yoga, and even ganja yoga, Liz has enjoyed being able to step outside of her comfort zone, find new friends and community, and is willing to "try anything once" when it comes to her yoga practice. She has found true joy in bringing the calming and centering aspects of yoga to the veteran community and is currently an active online teacher for Comeback Yoga, a nonprofit committed to bringing free trauma-informed yoga to veterans.
