With a handle like 'Elspeth Teagarden Tanguay-Koo', you know there's got to be some juicy stories buried behind the shed. In this epsiode, I chat with Elspeth about her upcoming Yongin Chapter presentation/workshop at Kangnam University on Saturday March 11 at 2pm. 'Learning as Koreans to become Korean' explores how to educators and facilitators of all stripes can promote equity and identity formation for multicultural students within the Korean cultural context.
In this episode we also touch on a few personal history stories, but if you really want to get to the good stuff, you'll have to join us on Saturday!

February 11th brought a gaggle of gigglers to Board Ville in Yongin for games, friendly banter and a rejoining of forces. And a force we are indeed! Join us, won't you?!
It was a chilly but bright January first morning when two new members of the YoKo executive took a serious stroll around a lake. Please note that in this instance I use the term 'serious' loosly. I hope you enjoy our romp as much as we did. Happy New Year!
Just a short solo send off of 2022 and nod to the new year ahead of us.

Welcome to the second part of an interview with author Andrew VanWey that I did back in August of 2022.
In part one, we talked about Andrew's beginnings, and explored a little of what new teachers might want to consider as they begin teaching English in Korea. We concluded with a little of what it is to be a writer, from Andrew's perspective. In part two, we jump right into serious gaming and link that to storytelling, and conclude with a plug for independent publishing.
