Full transparency. I was the kid who read the encyclopedia and the LIFE magazine series on the planet earth, and the one on reptiles, and the one on mammals, the whole thing. It fed my imagination and curiosity of exotic places outside of my community. It was those books that took me to far away places in my mind. Those books expanded my world view, introduced me to new cultures, and shaped my perspective of both modern and ancient civilization.
But that was all in my imagination. Some people explore the world more literally through vacations and pass-time. Some walk, hike, or cycle about the planet, some do luxury vacations, but others go for full-on relaxation. Whatever your pleasure most agree that escaping is a real anecdote to the blues and stresses of life. And once the madness of these times pass we’ll all be back on the road and vacationing. With that in mind I’d like to hear more about how to travel the world on a budget.
