The wendigo is a terrifying creature of Algonquin folklore, roams the forests of North America while feeding on human flesh. Anyone who succumbs to the curse of the wendigo, becomes one, forever doomed to wander the woods, always searching for its next victim.

An alleged wendigo sighting was reported recently near Catawba River in Catawba Nation woods in York County in South Carolina. A picture surfaced of a gaunt, starving humanoid in the forest, and made it’s rounds on social media, sparking concern for locals. But what exactly is shown in the photo? Is it a malnourished human, an actual Wendigo, or something else?

Jessica was tasked with this photo as a coordinate remote viewing target, as well as the target of “the wendigo” in general and discusses the data here with researcher, author and South Carolina law enforcement officer Robby Raines!
