This week on the show, he's represented his country of the cayman islands at 3x Olympic games and 7x World Championships. He was an all-American and is still the current record holder at rice university in the long jump and the 100m dash. He's a multiple NCAA all-American. And a few short months ago he was inducted into the southwest conference hall of fame. He's also the only athlete behind carl lewis to have run sub 10 seconds in the 100m dash and leaped over 8.50m in the long jump. He's the current associate head coach at the university of texas at san Antonio. This week Coach Kareem Street-Thompson joins me on the show
Had a great conversation with coach Kareem. we dove into the ups and downs of his journey as an athlete, the start of his coaching career and the type of man he strives to be. I always heard a lot of coach Kareem from different coaches and the respect they have for him. A lot of his foundation was built from his childhood and we get into that as well.
