Lately, I’ve had a lot of conversations with friends, clients, and myself, about all of us not feeling like we’re enough.
Today, I rant into the wind about how this belief forms for a lot of us as early as childhood, is reinforced throughout our adolescence, and weaves its way into many corners of our adult lives making it difficult to quit thinking this way. I make sure to note on how capitalism is a driver of this for many of us, and how important it is to question it and it’s potential triggers.
Throughout the episode I discuss several areas in life where it’s normal for these feelings to pop up- career, relationships, family, and even in your expectations for yourself. In the hopes that you feel empowered to do the same, I share tips on ways I’ve challenged the assumption that I’m not enough, and give you permission to question it yourself.
My wish is that when I tell you are enough just the way you are, you feel inspired to adopt this perspective. It might not happen today, and it might not happen tomorrow, but everyone deserves to feel the peace that comes with believing that you are more than enough.
